Following the success of last year’s sewing courses sewing machine specialists Stocks are pleased to announce a wide range of Textile Teacher tuition courses running throughout April and July 2009.
Stocks Sewing Machines, who have been specialising in the sales and service of sewing equipment since 1971, have always been dedicated to offering expert training for using sewing machines and overlockers Last year Stocks’ Textile Teacher Training course, which they ran from their Leeds based training centre, proved very popular. They are now repeating it, as well as introducing a Craft Course.
Andrew Stocks, Chief Executive of Stocks Sewing Machine’s, said: “After the huge success of our Teacher Training course we decided to introduce a range of new sewing courses for 2009. Our new programme offers avid sewers and Teachers of all abilities the chance to get involved and receive some guidance from our experts.
“Having sold and serviced sewing machines since the early 1970s we feel this training is an important service, especially when we manage to help our customers make the most of their machines.”
The new sewing courses, which will run every Wednesday throughout April and July, will offer tuition and support on overlocking, software, bag making, basic sewing machine maintenance, and the basics of making a skirt. In addition to this Stocks are offering basic sewing courses for beginners, as well as their monthly Demo Club (2nd Tuesday of each month) designed to help you get the most out of your sewing machine.
